Binance Slashes Trading Fees To Commemorate 5th-Anniversary Celebration

Binance launches zero-fee trading that persists until further notice today as it prepares for a 5th-year birthday party in Paris. The crypto exchange company announced that it would disqualify wash trades, illegally bulk registered accounts, self-dealing trades, and market manipulation.

This zero-fee trading will cover 13 spot trading pairs: BTC/BUSD, BTC/EUR, BTC/GBP, and BTC/RUB. This will not affect the activities of VIP users and qualified liquidity providers.

The CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), reassures traders and investors that the promotion will not affect Binance’s reserves.

Other anniversary promotions recently announced by the company include a welcome bonus for new Binance Savings customers and locked BNB staking with APY up to 55%.

The promotion begins on Friday, July 8, 2022, while the crypto exchange company celebrates its anniversary in Paris, the soon-to-be location of its global headquarters. The event will be held at the Hall de la Pinède in the Parc Floral de Paris, strictly by invitation (tickets). The event will feature an AMA session with CZ, snacks, drinks, and typical birthday activities. In addition, anyone can stream live.
