Recent reports claim that banking giant Barclays is considering investing in the crypto firm Copper, despite the market downturn facing several crypto assets.

According to a report by Sky News yesterday, Sunday, July 24, 2022, the multinational banking giant would be investing an undisclosed sum to the tune of several millions of dollars, and the fundraising would be in its final stages in the next few days.

The crypto firm, Copper, is a platform that provides prime brokerage, custody, and settlement services to institutional investors investing money in digital assets.

The fundraising scheduled to be finalized in the next few days would conclude the crypto firm’s $500 million Series C funding round, which started towards the end of 2021.
