Binance, Ukraine, and Lviv IT Cluster Partner to Raise GenZ IT Professionals

Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, in collaboration with Binance and Lviv IT Cluster, launches a new IT Generation project to educate 60,000 software engineers.

The initiative aims to support Ukrainians who want to retrain for IT jobs, refugees and internally displaced people who lost their jobs to the war. The participants will be offered an opportunity to choose between online or offline courses for both technical and non-technical roles.

Lviv IT Cluster has pledged its support for the initiative, while Binance announced that it would donate $1m BUSD to provide full scholarships for at least 1,000 Ukrainians. Also, the existing Binance Scholar Program will continue to offer students educational and professional support post-course completion. Lviv IT Cluster, a community of IT businesses, educators, and professionals, also pledged its support for the initiative.
